Hello! I am so excited to tell you about the trip to Mozambique I am going on in less than a week. I am going on an agent educational trip and will be visiting and getting information about all of these lodges.
Anantara Medjumbe Island Resort & Spa reopens with a fresher look and new Signature Experiences. The secluded Resort situated on a pristine private island in the Quirimbas Archipelago recently reopened its doors following an extensive refurbishment to the entire Resort.
This luxury hideaway boasting 12 beautifully appointed villas now features upgrades to the villas, refreshed styles and décor, depicting the colorful culture of the locals and new signature experiences, including a Robinson Crusoe-style star bed for the ultimate romantic experience. The Island is a mere one kilometer long and 300 meters wide, offering a naturally intimate and secluded getaway, with convenient access, just a 45 minute light aircraft transfer from Pemba International Airport.
All of the 12 thatched Beach Pool Villas, which open out onto the sandy beach, offer a sense of natural luxury, including newly designed splash pools with a built-in Champagne step.
The guest villas and public area have been replenished with custom designed furniture produced in Indonesia and South Africa, depicting incredible attention to detail complimented with brightly colored fabrics that were sourced from the local markets.
Azura Benguerra – New Royal Beach Villas We are excited to announce that Azura is launching a new villa type: The Royal Beach Villas.
At 172m2 they are the largest of the villas, and are packed with features, including a 10m infinity pool and adjoining Jacuzzi that spans the entire front deck, a separate lounge area and second bathroom, two spacious outdoor relaxation pavilions, as well as all the normal features of an Infinity Beach Villa. They are our most luxurious yet, with fantastic locations and all the space and facilities travellers are looking for. The 2 Royal Beach Villas are located at the northern end of the property next to the Presidential Villa, with large landscaped gardens for a sense of total privacy and exclusivity, as well as 30m of picturesque beach frontage with magnificent sea views.
The Royal Beach Villas are expected to open later this year, in July.
Nuarro Lodge is Open Again After an extremely wet season, the lodge has reopened after managing to get all the annual maintenance done. And the hard work has paid off, the lodge is looking superb!
Nuarro is the ideal spot for a family holiday or if you are interested in diving, Nuarro offers some of the BEST! One of the very few places where you can dive directly from the beach. The instructors will get you comfortable in the water in no time!
