Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco - Puno
Type of Transport : Regular Bus: Cusco to Puno
At a coordinated time in the morning, you will be transferred to the local bus station, to board the Tourist class regular bus to the city of Puno. It is a full day trip starting at 7:00 a.m., crossing the great anti plano with the ever presence snow-capped Andean Mountains. On route, you will visit Andahuaylillas and the villages of Raqchi and Pucará. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Puno - Kayak Llachon - Ticonata
At 7:30am, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the port to board a motor boat. After 2 hours 20 minutes by boat arrive at Llachon - Santa Maria and meet the staff of Titicaca Kayak Company. After the safety briefing from the specialized kayak guide, you put on the kayak equipment and paddle along the coast of the Capachica Peninsula. Discover the immensity and all the magic of Lake Titicaca . Lunch at local restaurant (not included).
Then we travel to Ticonata Island by motorboat, arriving at approximately 3:30 pm. On arrival, you will meet the local community, who will welcome you to their village. Witness the demonstration of activities includes crafts, agriculture and music. At night, enjoy a dinner of local produce, campfire underneath the stars, and demonstration of how to read the coca leaves. Overnight at a community house in Ticonata.

Day 3: Ticonata - Amantani
After breakfast, you will being a unique 2-hour cruise by wooden sail boats towards Amantani island; Taft fishermen & the west winds will take us to our destination. Accommodation is a home stay where you will enjoy a typical lunch. In the afternoon you will hike to the summit and visit the Temple of Pacha Tata or Pacha Mama. Observe the sunset over Lake Titicaca than eat dinner and celebrate with the locals. Overnight.

Day 4: Amantani - Uros - Puno
After breakfast, we leave Amantani and head towards the famous Uros floating reed islands. Observe these Man-made platforms inhabited by a group of fishermen descended from one of the oldest human groups on the continen and to this day practice their ancient traditions. Their dwellings made of totora reed, are built on the surface of Lake Titicaca. Reed boat rides can be arranged with the locals (optional). After spending some time learning about their fascinating history and unique way of life, you'll continue back to Puno arriving at approximately12:30pm. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 5 Puno - Home
