Diving
Anilao is hailed as one of the most diverse destinations in the Philippines for diving and caters to divers of all levels. From rare muck diving critters to reef walls teeming with life, and the Centre of Biodiversity in the Philippines, Verde Island, only a boat ride away.
Anilao began creating waves as a world-class scuba diving destination due to the plethora of nudibranchs and is often dubbed ‘The Nudibranch Capital of the World’.
In recent times, the surge in popularity in Blackwater diving and Bonfire diving has brought a lot of attention to Anilao due to the frequently seen rare critters, such as the Blanket Octopus, Juvenile Wonderpus and so much more.
Dive Center
A fully equipped dive center built to cater to all levels of divers or soon to be divers. The dive center and its staff provide the highest degree of safety standards that Solitude has known for in all our other locations.
Equipped with a brand-new Bauer membrane compressor and the compressor room is specially de-signed for the natural influx of fresh air, the dive center uses only the best quality of high-pressure air purifiers to ensure every dive is as safe and enjoyable as it should be.
The dive center also provides an Enriched Air Nitrox option and a spacious camera room with 28 individual camera stations equipped with a camera lounge to work on your images, all international volt-age regulated sockets for charging batteries, drying stations and large, freshwater tubs for rinsing cameras.
Scuba Education Courses and Programs are available and they are conducted in the resort’s swimming pool and surrounding calm, shallow, open water. We have our own classroom that can fit up to 12 students or if informal setting is desirable, we have the Living Room lounge located across the swimming pool under The Acacia.
