Omali Lodge Boutique Hotel

Omali means "ocean" and "source of life". The perfect place to explore the natural and cultural wonders of the equatorial island of São Tomé. This stylist decorated boutique hotel offers 30 comfortable rooms and suites for honeymooners, families, and business travellers.

Location

Located 1,5 Km from the airport and 4 Km from the picturesque town of São Tomé and in front of "Lagarto" beach.

Weather

The Omali Lodge is open all year round. In São Tomé, the temperatures vary from 23° to 30°C. The rainy season is between October and November and from April to May. During the remaining months the weather is mostly dry and warm.

Accommodation

CLASSIC ROOMS

Combining elegance and simplicity, the classic room is facing the hotel patio. This 20 sqm room has as a cosy atmosphere and includes a lounging area. The bathroom has one sink and one shower.

JUNIOR SUITE

With a modern and sophisticated decoration, the junior suite overlooks the pool. This 45sqm suite includes a king-size bed or twin beds, a separate lounge and a spacious bathroom with separate shower and tub.

HONEYMOON SUITE

With romantic atmosphere , the honeymoon suite overlooks the main garden and the pool, this 55sqm-room includes a queen-size bed , lounging area and a spacious bathroom with separate shower and tub.

FAMILY ROOM

To enjoy pleasant moments with your family , the family room overlooks the main garden and the pool , this 55sqm-room includes two rooms , one with a king-size bed and a second room with twin beds, a lounging area and a spacious bathroom with separate shower and tub.

Diving

At Omali Lodge we do have an agreement with a local PADI certificated company. The service includes not only the diving, but also transportation to the best sites in the island. In Príncipe island we do not have diving available yet. Guests will see not only colored fishes but also boat wrecks and corals. The equipment is included. The water temperature is around 26°C all year round.

For people who want to experience diving, we are able to firstly offer a diving lesson at Omali Lodge swimming pool.

In the other hand, about turtles they can be seen in both islands of São Tomé and Principe. The turtle nesting is from December to mid-March, and the hatching from November to mid-January.

The type of turtles that can be seen are the Leatherback, Hawsbill, Loggerhead & Green turtles.
