Torres del Paine National Park (Chile)

The closeness of the Pacific to the mountains on the Chilean side of the Andes gives Chilean Patagonia a much more humid climate, with more vegetation making the scenery very different to that of Argentinean Patagonia. The main highlight of a trip across the border into Chile is to visit the world famous Torres del Paine National Park, which is some 4/5 hours west of Calafate. Whether you approach the pak from Puerto Natales or from Argentina, we operate trekking trips & non active experiences to suit all fitness levels and budgets, or we can book the infrastructure for you to explore the park under your own steam. Due to its remoteness, accommodation in Torres del Paine is expensive, but we know which of the many lodges & estancias in and around the park offer good value. The other option is to base yourself near Puerto Natales, if budget allows we highly recommend The Singular, one of South America's greatest hotels.
