Adelaar

Adelaar is a beautiful old Dutch Schooner which has been sailing the Komodo Archipelago for the past 15 years. She has undergone a complete renovation and update, making her a luxurious five star vessel, to accommodate and service the discerning modern traveler.

The Adelaar has three spacious air-conditioned staterooms, each with en-suite bathrooms and all the amenities of a luxury boutique hotel. Built in 'classical yacht' style, the interior has rich wood paneling and high ceilings.

The exclusive master stateroom is our largest, with a queen size bed, sofa and desk, as well as abundant closets and drawer space. The master en-suite bathroom has a spacious shower, double sinks and a separate toilet area.

Our two large guest staterooms each have double bed, sofa and desk as well as closet and ample drawer space. Each guest stateroom has en-suite bathrooms with separate shower, toilet and sink.

Our main salon is a cozy and inviting area below deck. Relax on the sofa with a good book from our extensive library, challenge your partner to a game of chess at the game table, or write those postcards seated at one of two desks. Have our steward prepare a cocktail from our well stocked bar, also located on this level.

Gourmet meals are served a la cart in the main dining salon, located on the upper level. Large windows provide a panoramic view of the vivid landscapes as we cruise through the Archipelago.

The upper deck has a large seating area, situated under an expansive sun awning, which provides the perfect spot for enjoying the scenery while cruising. The forward deck is fitted with comfortable cushions for relaxing and sunbathing.

Power source:
Our power source runs 24/7 with generator output at 240 V/50 Hz. There are abundant receptacles throughout the vessel in all the guest rooms and common areas. Receptacles accept standard German two round pin plugs. We do have plug adapters available, for our UK and USA guests.
